Man Beaten Up In New Case Of Road Rage - Brunei Times
IN A yet another case of road rage, a 22-year-old man was allegedly beaten up at Tungku Link, nearby the Biro Kawalan Narkotik (BKN) headquarters in Gadong on Thursday. The young man, who refuses to be identified, narrated to The Brunei Times, his horrific encounter with another angry driver. The road rage victim was driving home around 5pm after office hours when the traffic is usually heavy. "I decided to cut through a small space of road to beat the traffic when I heard a car honking. Since the road was full of cars, I decided to ignore it and kept on driving," he said.
Our erstwhile reporters could have asked a little more about the events leading up to this, because it sounds to me that he was cutting the queue. And if that is so, I'm sorry but I have no sympathy. Our 'roid-rager was simply doing what we secretly all want to do to a queue-cutter, it's just that most of us are bound by certain morals and values.
