Its pretty late in the evening and I can't blame insomnia for not sleeping for many I suspect will be awake this time to watch the US election unfold and make history. Whichever way the ballot falls.
If you vote McCain, we'll see the oldest US President elected to a first term (and Sarah Palin, the first woman elected as Vice President). But its Barack Obama whom I stay awake for. And I don't even get to vote. Don't pin it on the little asian girl to pick Obama based on the colour of his skin, its just his vibe that brings me some hope for a better world. And while we're at it, I picked Barack way before 2008. I read an article on Obama, then a lowly US Democratic Senator, in what must have been Vanity Fair sometime in 2006 and said to Bobby, if Americans know better, this man will be their president one day.
By the way, this is currently my favourite Obama story.
GO OBAMA!
Dear Ryls, I told you Jane is a GODSEND :) Glad to be of some help. Lots of love xx
