You're quite right Tina :)

I knew it was too good to be true! The same thing happened when, if I'm not mistaken, Simon said that it was "new" that a contestant was covering Happy Together that way. I've heard Simple Plan sing that song the same way the contestant was.

I think it was also David Cook. Eeps.

A little Idol Trivia:

Remember when David Cook sang an alternative version of Lionel Richie's "Hello" and the judges thought it was a new thang? Well, Brandon Boyd and Incubus were there first:

Ooh! I love Jason Castro! His first week was brilliant like heck! I'd like to see him without the dreads, though. Hahaha.

I liked Brooke's Love Is A Battlefield, but didn't like You're So Vain.

And Michael Johns! I personally think his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody during Hollywood week was arockin'. Loved that.

Hiya Cookie, you're quite right about Michael Johns looking (and singing) like Michael Hutchence. Who knows about his penchant for erotic asphyxiation though! Hehe :) Castro is SUCH a pretty boy isn't he?? But, after seeing Brooke White singing one of my favourites 80s songs, I'm now kinda Hooked-on-Brooke!

What a coincidence! My top faves are Ozzie Michael Johns & Jason Castro too! Johns reminds me of a (much) better looking Michael Hutchence (erotic asphyxiation aside!), and Castro's pretty face reminds me of a much younger John Travolta. The guys are waaaaayy better than the gals this year. But yea, Brooke White does stand out! :)
