Yesterday afternoon RA and I jointly pre-recorded a segment with DJ Allen Shim, the affable host of Pilihan FM's (95.9 & 96.9 fm) new Saturday radio show, 'Conversation'. The show plays on the radio every Saturday 2pm on 95.9 Pilihan FM.
In between casual banter about the blogosphere, DJ Allen plays the tunes we picked. When I am nervous I tend to overcompensate, so one of my songs was AC/DC's 'If You Want Blood' (from The Empire Records Soundtrack), a song I dedicated to beloved siblings and rockstar son. In retrospect, perhaps a better song choice to remind me of the movie was 'Till I Hear It From You' by the Gin Blossoms because an AC/DC song is a bit of a scream.
Incidentally, one of RA's song was 'More Than Words' by Extreme. He is a soppy one RA.
~blood on the rocks, blood on the streets, blood in the skyyyyyy, blood on the sheets~
how is that not a classic??

Definitely a scream, but that song (and the movie) DOES remind me of all the sisters and rockstar nephew collectively, so good choice!
Plus, we ALL need a little AC/DC in our systems on a Saturday afternoon.
