Every Hari Raya, like clockwork on the first day at the in-laws, and the first to arrive at ours, Hajah N, her husband and her children Syafiqah, Syafiq and Zul-Fadly come visiting bringing a good deal of cheer. Hajah N and her husband run a school canteen at Bukit Beruang. That's pretty far by Brunei standards, but she still manages to drive into Bandar and earn extra money doing odd-jobs for some folks. Sometimes she has to cart along her children on her runs. Definitely not a woman who is afraid of colour, nor lacking in perseverance and style, Hajah N also dresses her mischievious little ones in matching outfits complete with cute trimmings. Syafiq and Syafiqah are obedient and love cakes, while naughty Zul-Fadly is a favourite with the ladies.
