And it all started on Friday evening with dinner at Auntie L's. Bab's mom is something of a force of nature. And I mean that in a good way 
. It was us and the usual suspects. J&J, M & A and of course Babs & MatBon. Auntie Wen joined in the evening's merriment.
We left around 1am and only because the husband had work at 8.30 in the morning. We have gotten used to having Willow & Xander in the bedroom with us before bed. Spoilt lil' kittens that they are...And now, introducing, Willow & Alexander Fitzsimmons (with guest actress, Nadi)!
Woke up bright and early for a Saturday morn, getting ready for the Babes and Babies Brunch. We went overboard with the brunch: scones, croissants, smoked salmon sandwiches, muffins galore. Myumyum.
Ms. DJ had her "Crisp & Dip Birthday Cake" (as requested by the birthday DJ herself). Iz thought up the dip recipe (you can find the recipe on the "Cook 'em & Eat" blog) and Myuzim created the cake.
After brunch we had lunch with the folks and Saturday was/is spent like any other Saturday.
We have the C.S.I DVD on now and it will be an early night. Myuzim and his mates have a Charity Mini World Cup 5 a-side Football Tournament starting at 8am esok and I am coach. Its gonna be hot and a blast. I hope the boys do alright...
I gotta go to bed.
