New Moon Trailer

Much to the anticipation of many, New Moon the second part to Stephenie Meyer's Twilight saga, is due for theatrical release on 20 November 2009. Here's the official trailer:

Let's hope New Moon the movie has more Mr-Edward-Please-Bite-Me-With-Your-Fangs-Cullen than the book did.

Oh dear, Paul Newman just died of lung cancer. He was 83 years old.

Oh Michelle, we thought Grease 2 rocks and you singing Cool Rider on that ladder with the magic fingers move was your best role ever!!

I Heart Auntie May

24-7 Assist goes live daily on Kristal to give Brunei their traffic reports during the lunch time rush hour.  They also have an advert running starring a breath of fresh air from the market, Auntie May, who calls 24-7 for some roadside assistance, gets help in a jiffy and flirts with Mr. 24-7 dude.  Some clever marketing ensued and we got DJ Jenny with Auntie May in an interview with 24-7 last Thursday.  I was lucky to catch it for ol' Auntie May was in good form.  For those who haven't heard of Auntie May, she's the chinese auntie character who is unashamedly loud mouthed in her Chinglish accent and very funny.  Auntie May is, short of a better word, fabulous.  Laughing at her funny banter reminds me of a time when we all found Wang Jambol funny in the 80s.  Where is Wang Jambol anyway?  Kristal should do an advert with the two together.

I've gained a new found respect for Kristal FM for their cheerful advertisements and current programming style.  I dig their we-don't-take-ourselves-too-seriously vibe.

I am a fan of John Mayer and I'm not sure what I think about his TMZ clip on YouTube.  The clip shows him being hounded by paps until he says everything he wants to say about his recent break-up with Jennifer Aniston.  He's a bit weary, sage and pissed off John is...

...but not looking too shabby in a buzz cut.

Is This Rock Bottom For Amy Winehouse?

Google images of Amy Winehouse and there's many of her in her pale pink ballet flats looking wasted, awfully thin and bleeding. Sometimes all at once. I enjoy her music and think she is extremely talented, but now I find Amy Winehouse has become incomprehensible. She's seen in this strange and sad video playing with baby mice and begging husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently languishing in prison, not to divorce her. I am almost fearful that she will suddenly squash the little ones. That Pete Doherty is hanging about her looking very dirty, doesn't help.

I really don't mind the ratty beehive and super-lined eyes I think they're kinda cool but Amy, what are we going to do with you?

Oprah's Cottoned On Pregnant Man!

Bobby's gone off for a stud weekend in Labuan with groom/stag/best mate SP together with the baddest rent-a-crowd, Mimi's having her afternoon nap, Beloved Son is eating Planter's honey roasted cashew nuts $13.40 (!) from Supasave. So this seems a good time as any to bring you Thomas Beatie.

The pregnant man was a guest on Oprah, and someone kindly liveblogged it. Apparently we're not punk'd after all.

And Buzzfeed hits the spot, pun intended, when they say:
