Spontaneous Combustion - A Prelude
Saturday last week I was on an aeroplane and enroute to spend New Year in Bali with Beloved Husband and Beloved Son when the idea for an end-of-year post popped into my head. During the pleasant drive to Ubud, the idea went from being a potential 'Emma's Movers & Shakers 2006' post to one involving a photospread like the ones in Vanity Fair when they spotlight on a person or group of people like "The Directors" or "The Ingenues" but this time featuring a cross-section of Brunei Blogs. By the time I was at a nice long dinner with my boys, I was raring to start sending out the emails to my list of bloggers.
On Sunday the following day I woke up in a daze and wondering whether all that emailing the previous evening was a dream. It was not. By Sunday evening, most of those I have emailed were on board and plans were afoot for a photosession at the Bijou Bungalow. For those who could not make it, because they were abroad or wished to remain anonymous, I requested that they send in swell pictures. Initially the plan was to meet each 'category' of bloggers at a certain time, take my desired picture and move on to the next one. But really, where's the fun in that? I had more than ten categories, I am one Spontaneous Bunny when inspiration hits and I LOVE the idea of costumes. Come Tuesday I hired (more like cajoled) Mellie as my Make-up Artist and Stylist, Stella as my Art Director and FidBit as my Photographer, so by the time Friday came, the shoot planned for Saturday afternoon was turning into like no other.
Plus, Beloved Husband catered.

Emma, have you recieved the zip file of pictures I sent you lastnite? Sorry for the delay, I processed the pictures till 2ish Sunday morning and had to shoot a wedding in the morning at Lumut hehe.. Hope the pictures will do :-)
